Cellwatch products meet the requirements of the European Restrictions on Hazardous Substances in Electronics (RoHS). The RoHS Directive bans placement into the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than designated maximum allowable levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
All Cellwatch components are compliant with the EU’s WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and display the WEEE symbol. The WEEE Directive aims to:
- Reduce waste from electrical and electronic equipment; and
- Improve the environmental performance of electrical and electronic equipment by reusing and recycling, or by the responsible disposal of such products.
