Raleigh, NC (May 21, 2008) – NDSL Cellwatch has become the first international provider of battery monitoring systems to completely localize its product for the French market, with the translation of its technical manual into French. The new publication will ship with all new French orders.
“This closes the loop in our efforts to have a French localized Cellwatch product,” said David Brown, Cellwatch CEO. “We began distributing a new version of Cellwatch software in 2006 that included the ability to switch the entire user interface into French. Bringing the technical literature up to the same standard has been a much more difficult task. Our manual is a weighty tome and contains 200 pages of accumulated product knowledge from over ten years experience for both the installer and the user. The French version of our software has been very well received and we believe this new manual will be perceived as an equal benefit by our French-speaking customers.”
Brown noted the new publication is part of a continuing Cellwatch effort to better serve France and other French-speaking countries. Earlier this year, Cellwatch hired Richard Daws to coordinate sales and support services for customers and channel partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Daws is based in France and his immediate focus is to maximize existing sales opportunities within France while developing new business with channel partners throughout Europe.
